Pictures from Soldiers overseas

Last updated on 07 July 2006 12:20:58

Jeremy, Sorry this picture isn't the greatest. My wife forwarded it from a friend of mine. Anyhow, that's me in the foreground. The fuel tanker was hit by RPG fire (no injuries though) and we had to secure the site. The Stars and Stripes had a picture of me from behind walking up to the tanker so I'm currently enduring a stream of "butt" jokes.

The only caption I can truly think of is "Elvis Found in Iraq." I have to tell you, that's exactly what I thought of when I first saw the picture, graffiti artists had turned Saddam into Elvis with those famous sideburns.

Certificates stating flags that I sent over to Iraq were flown on some combat missions. Very cool!

Jeremy,

I will have to look for some more photos. The person that took the pictures did not label all of his photos and I would have to guess what they are right now. I will have to open each one and see what he has.
